It is here again… the time of year where we decide to get rid of the old and welcome in the new… well that is the theory. First we have to get rid of the old…

The end of a year is a good time to have a mental and physical clear out. The full moon on Christmas day (the first in 38 years) added extra release power this year. Release anything that you no longer need or want in your life tonight or in the next few days (it doesn’t have to be New Year’s Eve).

Take a piece of paper and write down things that need to go… don’t think too hard just allow your subconscious to do the work and write without questioning and see what comes up. Once you have your list (there maybe only one thing on your list and that’s ok) consciously think about how you are going to release these things and then burn the paper safely (I use a pan outside). Then allow yourself to act upon the list.

The beginning of the year is a great time to make changes in your life as the start of the year brings new energy. Stop for a moment and really think about what you would like to create in the coming year of 2016… all 366 days of it! Take a piece of paper and write 2016 at the top and then list all the things that you would like to attract into your life this coming year… not just health but real specific desires and wishes – Do you want to learn a language this year? commit to attending a Zumba class every week? Invest one evening a week reading uplifting, personal development books? Remember to include what you really desire and then pin it somewhere you will see it daily – on your fridge or mirror or take a photo of it on your phone and keep it as your screen saver! Then allow yourself to act upon your wish list, often tiny steps are better than huge ones as they move you nearer to your desires bit by bit without you getting too over whelmed, disappointed and disheartened and ready to jack it all in.

Good luck with your releasing and welcoming in your new desires and wishes for 2016. xxx
